IDEATION
This master ensuite did not live up to its full potential. Although a sizable room, everything was tucked into the corners, leaving the space unconnected. The entire design of this bathroom needed to be improved. The client wanted double basins and a large freestanding bath, creating a more spathroom-like experience.
IDEATION
All good design starts with getting the functionality right, so we selected and positioned all the necessary ingredients to maximise space and storage. We wanted to curate a scheme of stone and wood and, as the other bathroom for this customer, a large splash of leaf green tiles to inject a dose of nature.
This bathroom is a tale of two sides, two styles on opposite sides while still working in harmony together. This was much easier to appreciate in VR as you could experience the entire space for appearance and functionality.
INSTALLATION
As soon as you step into this bathroom, you feel a sense of calm and tranquillity. With an extra wide oak vanity with double sinks and plenty of drawer storage below, this creates more than enough storage. The freestanding stone bath and walk-in shower are connected with a ribbon of wood effect tiles on a raised plinth, creating a bit of drama and interest.
