The Spaces by Design difference
The couple met when they both worked at luxury yacht manufacturer, Fairline, where Andrew was Chief Designer and Marie created interiors designed to make a big impact in often restricted, multifunctional spaces.
Together they are committed to bringing this unique design experience and passion for quality materials to a wider market. Spaces will champion the passion and craftmanship of British brands and their commitment, not only to producing premium quality furniture but also more environmentally sustainable production methods. They want to prove that great design and, unique, made-to-measure interiors can be accessible to all.
Since opening the Spaces By Design Stamford showroom in 2020, the business has quickly grown, and early in 2023, Amy joined the creative team as a designer. Bringing to the team a unique eye for interior design and dedication to delivering an outstanding customer experience, Amy now works alongside Andrew and Marie, creating beautiful kitchens and bedrooms.
Design and sustainability is at the centre of our ethos at Spaces By Design, and we carefully select our brand suppliers with this in mind. Our trusted manufacturing partner is Daval Furniture, a family run British company based in Huddersfield. There is a strong focus on sustainability with one of their ranges going as far as using 100% sustainable and recyclable materials. We are proud to pass this care for our planet onto our customers so you can have the peace of mind that your new space has been made-to-order from sustainable materials with minimal waste and to top it off, we can take care of recycling your old furniture at installation.
